Depending on how the light shines makes the Tuttles possible friends or definite enemies. Invitations begin to come to Shell Island, and the opportunities are ripe to forge new alliances. Even enemies seem to want to become friends. House Costayne, one of the Tuttle’s most fervent enemies has invited the Tuttles to attend their Spring Tourney. Is the invitation all it seems to be?

Festivals and Work. Elyana staked out where the pavillions of House Tuttle would go, and supervised their raising. Lord Tuttle himself was off speaking to the other Lords in attendance, Lady Tuttle went with the other Ladys, Maera and Meridora went off in their own direction as did Simon.
Festivals and Play.
The Hunt. The hunt was an affair for the noble sons that attended the tourney. It had a reputation for being rough, and at times, wild. It was often a passage of manhood, where the sons went up against boar that had been bred for ferocity and cunning. This year would be no different than the previous years… so everyone thought.
The Spring Tourney is the cement that seals the Tuttle’s growing reputation as a house to be reckoned with. Afterwards, Tannenhall seems to to teem with men and women looking to establish themselves on Shell Island. Minor nobles send emissaries to establish contacts with the House that has grown to rival any Minor house in the Reach. The next two months are good to the Tuttles, and hope grows eternal that the House will permanently rise from the shadows. But as the Tuttle’s motto says.. “Never Rush Perfection”.
